Vacuum Cleaner Mini Turbo Brush Pet Hair Removal Floor Tool for Numatic Henry (32mm)

I bought one of these turbo pet hair heads (from a popular DIY retailer) for our Henry vacuum. The head that arrived doesn’t look the same as the one in the photo, and I can’t see a way to dismantle it in the way shown in the published images. Regardless of that it does work so …we have a small and mighty Chihuahua. She is long haired and shed’s like a polar bear. This head is very good at picking up surface dog hair and debris. Things to bear in mind though are it is small and takes some time to cover a whole room (depending upon type of carpet, size of room etc and physical capability, I am disabled and shuffle along on my bottom). It also makes some very loud and quite unpleasant noises, sounds like the rubber band is slipping continually and consequently it turns the metal tube in to a resonator, perhaps it could be a new musical instrument?! One big drawback for us is that it is not great at picking up long human hair. Both my partner and I have long hair and so I am regularly picking his hair out of the roller brush, I brush my hair regularly so don’t shed as much as he does in the house. Above and beyond any flaws it has, it has made my Chihuahua be able to breathe so much better when she sleeps on the carpet, for this alone it is worth its weight in marbles. If it had a human hair catcher it would be a 4.5. If it didn’t make such a loud and unpleasant noise it would be 5 out of 5, if it was easier to clean it would be perfect.
