Attaches directly onto valves with its 3/4" Male - 3/4" Female compression fittings and helps to protect and relieve pipe stress and damage.

Installation Instructions:
Can be fitted vertically or horizontally. Fit the female hose thread onto your appliance shut-off valve and install supply hose onto the male thread outlet of the water hammer arrestor. Hand tighten connections and use a wrench to tighten an extra 1/4 turn. Do not over-tighten.
Important: A pressure reducing valve should be installed before the water hammer arrestor for any systems exceeding 60psi (413.7 kPa) pressure.
